The Second Wife is out on Friday 8th!

Just in time for the day itself, my ghostly tale of terror - with a Valentine's theme - is coming out on Friday 8th Feb.

Here's a taste of what's to come:

Emily Marchant died on Valentine’s Day. If only she’d stayed dead, how different my life would have been.

Something told Chrissie the house didn’t want her, but it’s her new husband’s home, so now she must live in it. Sumptuously furnished, Barton Grove is filled with his first wife’s treasures.

Emily died six years earlier but a part of her never left. A stunning photograph of the first Mrs. Marchant hangs in the living room. There's something unnerving and impossibly alive about that portrait.

A series of terrifying events take over Chrissie’s life, but no one will believe her. As her marriage and her life unravel around her, she discovers, with devastating consequences, that Emily never intended Joe to take a second wife.

  1. Creepy! I love it! This makes me want to get under the covers andI'm not even home! Awesome!

  2. Catherine, I love the new cover...very chilling. I reading the book The Language of Flowers, and one meaning of a white rose is secretcy...hmmm.

  3. Something very haunting and scary about that cover.

  4. Well done, Cat! She is beautiful but spooky. Going to be a good read methinks!
